Hi Bears!  Well our school year has come to a rough ending.  Unfortunately, Brynlee broke her arm pretty bad yesterday.  Due to this we are ending our blog a little early.  Thank you to everyone who has followed us for the past 7 weeks.  We hope you enjoyed reading our blog as much as we enjoyed writing it.  We hope you have a fantastic summer!  See you in the fall.

So we are getting close to the end of the school year, Bears.  This is a great time to start reflecting on the year behind us.  What are some of your favorite memories from this school year?  Share your memories in the comments below.

Not going to lie bears, it was a hard day.  I guess they can't all be good.  What do you do when you're having a bad day to reset yourself?  Leave me a message in the comments below.

This is Trivia Trackdown part two.

Well, I have to say today was a really great day.  For the first time in 9 weeks my oldest son got to put on his hockey equipment and practice skating on synthetic ice.  His smile made my day today.

Challenge #32

Can you believe we are on challenge #32?  I cannot believe it, but here we go.  This is Trivia Trackdown part one.

Did You Know?

One million Earths could fit inside the sun!
Hi Bears!  I hope you had a great Memorial Day.  The weather cooperated so Brynlee and I spent a lot of time of outside.  We actually got to swim a little in our backyard which was a nice treat.  What did you do for Memorial Day?

Challenge #31

Cans of diet soda will float in water, regular soda cans will sink.
 - Your challenge is to figure out why?

Did You Know?

A typical cough is 60 mph, a sneeze is often faster than 100 mph.

I'm a little late on my post today.  It's been a BUSY morning.  Brynlee has been in her ZOOM meeting and I have had ZOOM training.  We can't wait to get back to normal learning!

Challenge #30

Would you rather shovel snow for an hour or rake leaves?

I would rather shovel snow.  I feel like when I rake leaves, more continue to fall and it never looks like I actually raked.

Did You Know?

Electronic computers were developed around the 1940s and were the size of a large room. Today, computers have gotten so small that they have been embedded into other things like microwaves, toys, cell phones, etc.

*We didn't get our first computer until I was in middle school and this is what it looked like.*

So, what did you do on Tuesday?  After I finished my meetings for the day, Brynlee and I headed to Dinosaur Land.  Yes, it is a real place out near Front Royal, VA.  There are life size dinosaurs there, of course not real but still pretty impressive to stand besides.  It really made me realize how much bigger than us the dinosaurs were.

Challenge #29

Would you rather be the funniest person alive or the smartest?  Explain why.
(This one really has me thinking.)

Did You Know?

The first coin operated video games were introduced in the 1970’s with titles such as ‘Computer Space’ and ‘Pong’ gaining popularity.

*Don't judge me, but I had the game "Pong" as a kid.*
