Rise and Shine Bears,

Challenge #15

So far most of the challenges have focused on critical thinking. Today's challenge works on creative thinking.  Be as creative as you'd like to answer the question.

How could a basketball, a broom and a garden gnome help set a trap to catch a thief?

Did You Know?

Frederick Douglass taught himself to read and write.

  1. Ayden:

The thief trips on the broom, so he falls onto a button, which releases a spike that falls onto the basketball, which punctures a hole in it, so it lets out air, which knocks over the garden gnome, who falls onto another button, which drops a cage onto the thief.

    1. I love this! I like how you thought of deflating the basketball.

  2. if its nighttime then have the gnome holding a broom and the basketball in someone else hand if the thief comes over to the fake guard gnome and tries to give it a concussion when he does he will hurt his hand and the person standing by with the basketball will throw it at the thief and then boom the thief will be knocked out and its yours for the taking. this was a suggestion by Brandon 😁😁😁:-D βγε

The thief shines his flashlight on the garden gnome on his way to the back door. The light triggers the electric gnome which throws the basketball at his head. The thief falls backwards onto the broom which turns on an alarm. The owners of the house wake up and the thief is arrested.

  4. Josh: The garden gnome uses the broom to hit the basketball to trip the thief. Then he gets trapped in a net.
